PURPOSE:To obtain automatically a copy of a suitable zoom magnification desired by an operator, by driving little by little a lens position adjusting mechanism, and a speed adjusting mechanism of an optical system, etc., whenever a copy operation of one sheet portion is ended, and repeating continuously a copy operation of a prescribed sheet number portion. CONSTITUTION:A zoom continuous mode key 2, and a varied magnification setting key 3 are provided on the upper left part of an operating board 1 and under said key, respectively, and also, on its lower part, a copy sheet number setting key 4 is provided. A ten key 5 inputs a varied magnification and a copy sheet number. Also, keys 6a, 6b are an up-key and a down-key for designating whether a zoom magnification is made to ascend or descend, in case the zoom magnification is varied little by little from a state of a designated zoom magnification. A variation of the zoom magnification is executed to match a varied magnification which has been set while an optical system, etc. are executing a return operation, and a loss caused by the time required for a variation of the zoom magnification can be made as small as possible. |
