PURPOSE:To absorp primary vibration without producing secondary vibration, by a method wherein a balancer is formed in the shape of a disc provided in a place with a balance weight, and is coupled to a crank shaft through a rotation transmitting wheel. CONSTITUTION:With a piston 1 reciprocated within a cylinder sleeve 3 and a crank shaft 4 rotated, rotation of the crank shaft 4 is transmitted to a balancer 13 through a ring gear 20, a pinion gear 18, and a ring gear 21, and the balancer is rotated at the same speed as that of the crank shaft 4 and in a direction reverse to that thereof. Thus, vibration produced due to unbalance of an inertia force by reciprocating mass is absorbed. Further, since a balancer 13 is situated around the axis of the crank shaft 4 and is supported to a crank case 5 through a bearing 17, secondary vibration due to an interaxis distance produced resulting from mounting of a different shaft is prevented from generation, and a constituting part, by which an increase in the weight of an engine is caused, is also eliminated. |
