PURPOSE:To decrease the number of electric circuits and to reduce the cost of a detecting device by delaying a sampling time and performing sampling operation twice without using a multiplexer nor a low-pass filter, and thus detecting a complex amplitude. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of each sensor 1 is amplified by a preamplifier 2, sampled by s ample holding circuit 5a with a signal 11, and also sampled by a sample holding circuit 5b with the signal 11 while delayed by a 1/4f time (pi/2). In this case, (f) is the frequency of a received signal. The output signal of the circuit 5a is converted as real number data on the complex amplitude by a switch circuit 6a into a time-series signal, which is stored in a memory 8 through an AC converter 7a. The output signal of the circuit 5b, on the other hand, is converted as imaginary data on the complex amplitude by a switch circuit 6b into a time series signal, which is stored in a memory 8b through an AD converter 7b.
