Oxiranes of the formula: <IMAGE> in which R is <IMAGE> R1 is hydrogen or halogen, R2 is halogen, R3 is alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkoxy with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, n is 0, 1 or 2, Y1 and Y2 each independently is hydrogen or alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, Z is halogen or alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and m is 0 or 1. and useful as intermediates in the preparation of fungicides.
