Curliness test rig - for natural and synthetic fibres

Natural and synthetic fibres can be tested for curliness by establishing the ratio of the difference of the difference of the lengths "not curled" and "curled" to the curled length. Manual checks can be replaced by cutting a bunch of fibres to length, introducing the cut end into a pipe through which air is passed, and reading the pressure drop. The latter is a function of the curliness.
