PURPOSE:To obtain a clinometer controller capable of controlling actuation automatically by utilizing a vehicle-speed switch which is made on and off according to travel speed of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:The vehicle-speed switch 7 provided to a speed meter 5 is made on by an indicating needle 8 to indicate 0km/h in a stopped state of the vehicle. When a light switch 9 is made on in this state, an electric current is applied to a coil part 10a of a relay 10 from a power source 11 and a (a) contact point 10b of the relay 10 is closed and the electric current is applied to an illuminating lamp 3 and the illuminating lamp 3 is lighted and the light is irradiated on a display panel 2 of a clinometer 1. Next, when the vehicle is started in this state, the indicating needle 8 of the speed meter 5 is turned and the vehicle-speed switch 7 is made off and the electric current to the relay 10 is cut off and the (a) contact point 10b is opened and the illuminating lamp 3 is put out.
