摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a product by evaluating as well as by detecting the control result of the roll eccentricity at the rolling mill outlet side, then by performing the phase control and gain compensation based on the evaluation result thereof. CONSTITUTION:A thickness gage 18 is provided at the outlet side of a rolling mill and the eccentricity detecting device 19 which measures the roll eccentricity control result on each turn of a backup roll 1 is arranged. Moreover, the mean value calculating device 20 which averages the data of N turns transmitted from the eccentricity detecting device 19 on each N turn of the backup roll 1, memory device 21 and phase, gain control device 22 are arranged. The eccentricity detecting device 19 inputs the data on each N turn of the roll 1 to the mean value calculating device 20, the output of the device 20 is inputted into the memory device 21, then, the control device 22 respectively corrects the phase control device 14 and gain compensating device 15. In this way the accuracy in rolling control is increased and the product quality is improved.</p>
