PURPOSE:To simplify a constitution by performing a two color recording providing a means which arranges the rear end of a record at the exposing tip part of an optical fixer and terminates the carrying of a sheet of recording paper for a prescribed time after the record of the first color. CONSTITUTION:The carrying of a sheet of recording paper 2 on which the printing of the first color has been completed, when it is in carrying in a carrying direction 101 at a prescribed carrying speed and the final recording end of the first color is positioned almost at the side of an exposure tip part 621 in an optical fixer 6, is terminated for a time regulated in advance, and the sheet of recording paper 2 receives an optical fixing with an optical fixing unit 6. After the lapse of a termination time, a motor rotation control part 10 generates a reverse rotation start up signal, then reversing a motor 9, and takes up the carried share of the sheet of recording paper 2 in the recording of the first color in the take up direction 102 through a platen roller 3, and after that, it performs the printing of the second color controlling the rotation of the motor 9 so as to carry the sheet of recording paper 2 in carrying direction 101 with the motor rotation control part 10, and the sheet of recording paper is cut at every recording with a cutter 5, and after the optical fixing, it is outputted through discharge rollers 7 and 8.
