PURPOSE:To send an emergency immediately by allowing an information having an emergency communication to generate a jam signal while other information processing unit sends a packet and causing collision to stop the transmission from the other information processing unit. CONSTITUTION:Transmission/reception stations 3-1-3-3 equipped with an information processing unit access a common transmission line 1 via a tap transceiver 2. When the station 3-1 acquires a transmission right during the transmission and sends a packet 4, it is assumed that an emergency transmission station 3-2 requiring emergency transmission exists. Even when the station 3-1 makes transmission, the station 3-2 generates a jam signal 5 to generate the collision. The station 3-1 detects the collision at a transceiver 2 by using the signal 5 to generate the jam signal and the transmission is stopped after the collision is emphasized.
