PURPOSE:To obtain substantial joint strength between a sintered layer and metallic base body by providing vent grooves to the joint surfaces of the titled sheet with which an acrylic resin self-adhesive agent is used and the metallic base body in the stage of sintering said sheet on the metallic base body and forming a wear resistant alloy layer. CONSTITUTION:The powder alloy sheet formed by kneading the acrylic resin self-adhesive agent and wear resistant eutectic alloy powder is adhered to the surface of the metallic base body by the acrylic resin adhesive agent and there after, the above-mentioned sheet is sintered and bound to the above-mentioned base body in non oxidizing atmosphere. The vent grooves 2, 2... are thereupon provided to at least either of the joint surface of the powder alloy sheet 4 or the joint surface of the metallic base body 1. The acrylic resin adhesive agent 3 is filled into the grooves 2, 2... to adhere the sheet 4 to the base body 1. The amt. of the adhesive agent 3 is thus made constant by the grooves 2 and the optimum adhesive strength between the sintered layer 5 and the base body 1 is obtd. While the amt. of the gas produced from the burning and evapo ration of the adhesive agent 3 is minimized.
