A tyre pressure control valve (1) is proposed which monitors the connection of a supply line connection (10) to the vehicle tyre. The valve (1) has a closure element (8) which is borne by a piston element (4, 7) and a relief chamber (15) to which a closure element (8) can be connected via a non-return valve (17) in order to relieve it when the supply line (11) is located downstream of the piston element (4, 7).
