PURPOSE:To diagnose almost all functions of each station by allowing an unattended station to disregard actual signal information and to send a set signal when diagnostic mode setting information and signal information are sent to the unattended station from a maintenance in charge station. CONSTITUTION:Signal information 24-26 of an unattended station are sent to a selector circuit 41 via AND circuits 37-39 and an OR circuit 40. An output of a counter circuit 16 select the information 24-26 via a decoder circuit 23. When the diagnostic mode from the maintenance in charge station (not shown) is not set to a signal line 36, the signal information of the OR circuit 40 and an address signal from the counter circuit 16 are sent via a parallel/serial conversion circuit (not shown). In setting the diagnostic mode, the signal information from the OR circuit is disregarded and the setting signal inputted from the maintenance in charge station (not shown) to a signal line 35 is sent together with the address signal.
