PURPOSE:To offer measurement data in various formats by providing a data editing means which edits and outputs numeric data in an output format selected by a format selecting means. CONSTITUTION:A registration area for print format selection is initialized in a step S61. When there is a ten-key input, a format No. inputted in a step S64 is registered temporarily. In a step S66, it is checked whether the format No. is within the range of a menus number or not and when so, an advance to a step 67 is made to register the format No. formally. Then, a print process is entered and the measurement data is printed out according to the format. Consequently, a format that a user requires is easily selected. Further, the format is stored in a storage means, so the infinite number of print means are easily offered in principle.
