PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a two-axial load placing device by placing a uniaxial load on a test piece by a freezing method and freezing stress, and taking a tension test in the other axial direction by a parallel light method. CONSTITUTION:A Z-direction uniaxial test piece is used to place a load in a Z direction and stress is frozen by the freezing method. Then, a grip part is adhered (at an adhesion position shown by a broken line) so as to enable T-directional drawing, and a tension load (Pt) is placed in a T direction by the parallel light method. Consequently, fringes by the freezing method and fringes by the parallel light method are both added to the test piece to obtain the same interference fringes as those when two-axial tension is applied. In this case, there is a difference in the way of fringe appearance corresponding to load stress between the freezing method and parallel light method, so the load stress is corrected.
