PURPOSE:To enable butt bonding of two round rods easily with a high degree of coincidence of their axes and to facilitate high-precision working of a work, by pressing two round rods, between which an adhesive has been applied, against V-grooves of holding members by pressing means. CONSTITUTION:This work sticking device is provided with holding members (a) (a V-block 3 and a positioning plate 7) having V-grooves 3a and 7a, respectively, the first pressing means (b) (a rod 63, a presser 63a, etc.) which will press a cylindrical work 11 placed on the top of a nearly cylindrical replaceable rod 10, between which an adhesive is applied, against the V-groove 7a, the second pressing means (c) (a pressing plate 40, a presser 40a, etc.) which will press the replaceable rod 10 against the V-groove 3a, and the third pressing means (d) (a presser 53c, a pressing rod 53, etc.) which will press down the work 11 against the replaceable rod 10.
