Ortho-ethoxy and ortho-propoxy substituted benzenesulfonamides, such as 2-ethoxy-N-¢¢4-methoxy-6-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)-1,3,5 triazin-2-yl!-aminocarboxyl!benzenesulfonamide and N-¢¢4-methoxy-6- (2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl!aminocar-bonyl!-2-propoxybenzenesulfonamide, and their agriculturally suitable salts show preemergent and postemergent herbicidal utility in corn.</p> |
