Glyphosate-type herbicidal compositions comprising a minor amount of an acifluorfen-type herbicide. The compositions exhibit an increased speed of phytotoxic action as compared with glyphosates and are especially useful in home and garden-type herbicidal applications. Acifluorfen is the trivial name used commonly for 5-¢2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxyl-2-nitro-benzoic acid. |
