PURPOSE:To provide a small and light garbage storing device by using a moving device which advances a box-type hopper equipped with an exhaust hole at the front to allow it to be situated over the rear body of a truck, by dropping the garbage from the exhaust hole through rotation of a rotating device, and thereby reducing the height over the ground. CONSTITUTION:To load garbage etc. in a box-type hopper 6 to a truck T, a moving device 5 is operated to allow a hopper to advance together with a cart 2, and the cast-in hole 6b is shifted forward from under a belt conveyor 37 while the exhaust hole 6a situated over the rear body of the truck T. When a rotating device 9 is operated and the hopper 6 is turned upward round a pivot 8 relative to the cart 2, a pressure roller 26 separates from the oversurface of the cart 2 to release application of pressure, so that a detent metal 30 rotates round a mounting shaft 25 through the tractive action of a coil spring 34 so as to release a detent 30a from a detent pin 29 to put a door 7 in free state. Now the exhaust hole 6a is opened relatively, and the garbage etc. in the hopper 29 falls off from the exhaust hole 6a onto the rear body of truck T, which ensures that the arrangement can be accomplished with a less height over the ground as well as a smaller size and weight.
