PURPOSE:To stop a moving body within a small attenuation pattern within a comparatively short period by providing a magnet on either one of a carrying course or the moving body and arranging a plate material consisting of soft and hard magnetic materials on the other along the moving direction of the moving body. CONSTITUTION:A floating truck 2 receives thrust based upon an advancing magnetic field generated from an advancing magnetic field generator 9 and moves on a carrying rail 1, but at the time of passage on a previously fixed position, the truck 2 is detected by a sensor, a signal generated from the sensor is sent to a controller, energizing to the generator 9 is disconnected by a control signal generated from the controller, and the current is supplied to both a positioning stopping electro-magnet 13 and an attenuation force generating electro-magnet 15.
