PURPOSE:To attain the selection with high flexibility in response to the operating environment such as an incoming time zone by adopting the constitution that an individual call number is registered at each selecting condition such as the incoming time zone in a selection rule table and the condition in matching with the selecting condition at the incoming call is selected as the terminating connection object. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming call to a subscriber telephone set group 2 by a telephone number in common to an incoming trunk 3 exists, a selection device 4 starts selection processing. The selection device 4 retrieves a selection table 5 to select an individual telephone number in matching with the incoming time zone as the terminating connection object. That is, the selection device 4 reads the storage location of a selection role table B corresponding to the common telephone number received by an incoming trunk 3 from the corresponding table A. Then the selection device 4 reads the storage location of the individual telephone number group table C of the time zone including the present time from the selection rule table B. Then the selection device 4 scans the individual telephone numbers in the individual telephone number group table C successively from the upper to the lower location and the first number where an idle flag is set is selected as the terminating connection individual telephone number.
