<p>PURPOSE:To expedite the detection and countermeasure of malfunction of a cartridge automatic changer in a microfilm system mechanism, by giving an automatic diagnosing function to a cartridge detecting sensor system. CONSTITUTION:A second position detecting sensor 86 detects such that a hand mechanism advances to a predetermined position, and issues a detection signal (actuating signal) S(b) to the control circuit 70. If no cartridge presence detection signal (operating signal) S(a) is delivered from a cartridge presence detecting sensor 92 so that the logic AND between both signals S(a), S(b) is not established until the detection signal (b) is delivered to the control circuit 70, the hand mechanism retracts, but a dummy cartridge member 95 is actuated by the hand mechanism to allow the sensor 92 to fall in a pseudo operating condition. Thereby, when the operating signal S(a) from the sensor 92 is delivered to the control circuit 70, an indicating and warning means 96 is energized. If no operating signal S(a) is delivered from the sensor 92, a failure indicating and warning means 97 is energized. Thus, it is possible to facilitate the countermeasure to an abnormality.</p> |
