PURPOSE:To cool a terminal and prevent the insulation disorder due to the adhesion of foreign material onto a terminal for a motor by arranging the terminal into a suction passage which is formed of a casing, motor, and housings, in separation from an oil return passage. CONSTITUTION:In a casing 1, the first housing 4 for supporting a scroll type compression mechanism and the second housing 6 for supporting a motor 5 are arranged, and a suction passage 9 separated from an oil return passage 13 is formed on the both housings 4 and 6 and the motor 5. Since a feeder terminal 50 for the motor 5 is arranged in said suction passage 9, the feeder terminal 50 is cooled by the intake air, and the generation of insulation disorder due to the adhesion of the foreign material such as metal powder contained in the returned lubricating oil is prevented.
