PURPOSE:To provide the titled suppressing agent consisting of a water-soluble polymer, etc., containing an unsaturated carboxylic acid as an essential component, effective in preventing the agglomeration of fine biocide particles into a coarse particle during storage and capable of maintaining excellent biocidal activity. CONSTITUTION:The objective aqueous suspension of biocidal composition is composed of a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer containing one or more kinds of monomers selected from unsaturated carboxylic acid and its derivative as essential components, a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer containing styrenesulfonic acid salt as an essential constituent monomer, a particle growth suppressing agent containing one or more kinds of formaldehyde condensate of sulfonated polycyclic aromatic compound (which may be substituted with hydrocarbon group) or its salt or a combination of the above components and a pulverized biocide containing particles finer than 0.5mu accounting for >=50wt% of the biocide. EFFECT:A drug preparation having extremely high stability and storable over a long period, at a high temperature or low temperature or in cycled condition without causing the growth of particle.
