PURPOSE:To facilitate the editing of error information by displaying the contents showing errors in the form a message among those error information collected when errors occur. CONSTITUTION:The program of an error information editing output program area 21 is started through a console 11 so that a magnetic disk device 12 delivers the error information. Then the contents of an error information area 5 are read out of the device 12. A central processing unit 1 refers to an error bit conversion table area designated by a pointer of an error information control table area or the contents of an error code conversion table area when the error information is edited and delivered. Then the unit 1 converts the contents of the error information designated by the type positions and the number of bytes of the error information control table area into a message and delivers it. |
