<p>PURPOSE:To enable the compact storage of many assembly jigs by providing a means for stacking separately transferred jigs for each type of machine in many layers on specified storage shelves with a jig lifting means. CONSTITUTION:A platen stacker 3 is for stowing many assembly jigs of each type and positioned at the head of a robot for automatic assembly. And according to a command from a line control computer, assembly jigs 1 for a machine of type under assembly are recovered and another jigs 1 for assembling a machine of another type in a succeeding process are fed to a transfer conveyor 5 one by one at a predetermined interval. Storage shelves 3a-3d are to store the assembly jigs 1 separately for each type of machines and a carrying device 3f delivers the assembly jigs 1 from the transfer conveyor 5. Also, a conveyor part 3g transfers the jigs 1 delivered from the transfer conveyor 5 to specified storage shelves, and a conveyor part 3h takes out the jigs 1 stored in the shelves 3a-3d for delivery toward the transfer conveyor 5.</p> |
