PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by consecutively arranging multiple fluid pressure cylinders, fixing one end, connecting the other end to a rack, connecting a fluid pressure control system to the above fluid pressure cylinders, and providing an indexing pinion on the above rack. CONSTITUTION:A pinion 6 engaged with a rack 5 is rotated for indexing by an angle in response to the combined stroke of multiple fluid pressure cylinders 1, 2. Therefore, detection of the indexing position is not required, and the indexing control may be so simple that On-Off signals whether the pressure fluid is fed to the multiple fluid pressure cylinders 1, 2 or not are only combined. In addition, indexing position selection and sequence selection can be simply performed with the combination of On-Off signals. Accordingly, this device can be constituted with the combination of the fluid pressure cylinders 1, 2, rack 5 and pinion 6, thus it can be made compact at a low cost. |
