PURPOSE:To enable an additional pressure corresponding to the rigity of a polishing blade to be set optionally so as to stabilize the repeatability of locating of an abrasive wheel, by changing the weight of a weight. CONSTITUTION:Regarding the weight balance between a weight 24 equipped to an abrasive wheel holder 11 and an abrasive wheel shaft head main body 20, a weight 24b is made lighter in the case of upper surface polishing and a weight 24a is made lighter in the case of lower surface polishing and an additional pressure corresponding to the rigidity of a blade is set. When a switching dial 25 is set to the upper surface, a switching cam receives the bottom of the weight 24b and a string 22b becomes loose and contrarily the weight 24b and the abrasive wheel axis head main body 20 are suspended through a pulley 29a, and this main body 20 falls down until stopped by a stopper 18a. During one cycle made by positive half turn of the eccentric cam of a Z feed main body 31, a slide fixing plate 30 slides on Z slide face 40 and abrasive wheel holder 1 falls and an abrasive wheel 13 is in contact with the upper surface of the blade for polishing.
