PURPOSE:To transfer a DMA between discontinuous address regions and to switch the transfer direction at least in one word unit, by applying a microprogram system to a DMA transfer device. CONSTITUTION:A DMA transfer device 20 is actuated when the mode designating information and a transfer designating bit train to a mode designating register 26 and a bit train register 27 respectively via a bus 5. The head addresses of storage regions A and B are set to address registers 23 and 24 respectively. A muP.ROM21 and a pipeline register 22 read the data of the region A into a data buffer 25 via the bus 5 in accordance with the information on the transfer designating bit train. Then the data of the buffer 25 is written to the region B. |
