PURPOSE:To use a memory with high efficiency and to reduce the load of a host by storing data base information in the 1st or 2nd data style and then changing these data styles as necessary for output. CONSTITUTION:A memory 203a of a data base part 203 stores data base information on the pictures in the 1st data style which can be treated by a host 201 or the 2nd data style which can be treated by a graphic display terminal 202. When the data base information is requested by the terminal 202, the relevant base information if stored in the 1st data style is converted into the 2nd data style by a processor 203b and transferred to the terminal 202. In the same way, the data base information requested from the host 201 is changed into the 1st data style and transferred to the host 201 as long as the base information is stored in the 2nd data style. |
