PURPOSE:To prevent the discharge current of a smoothing capacitor from flowing into a timer capacitor as well as to repeat the driving of a solenoid at high speed without generating an erroneous operation by a method wherein a diode is connected to the smoothing circuit with which the output of the rectifying circuit, which supplies a pulsation to a DC solenoid, is smoothed. CONSTITUTION:The output of a rectifying circuit 1 is inputted to a solenoid 3, a timer capacitor 28, and a smoothing circuit 14, and when the charged voltage of the capacitor 28 reaches the threshold value of a NAND circuit 16, a transistor 7 is turned ON, and the large current required when the solenoid 3 is started runs to a winding 5. Then, a pulsation current of small amplitude runs. When a control switch 6 is turned ON, as the flowing of the electric charge accumulated in an electrolytic capacitor 10 into a capacitor 28 through a resistor is blocked by a diode 30, the electric potential of the capacitor 28 drops quickly, and the input signal of the circuit 16 goes to L-level. Accordingly, the make and break operation of the switch 6 can be performed at high speed.
