PURPOSE:To attain the smooth carry in and out and to uniformly diversify the load of a drive roller by constituting such that pushing the drive roller, a carry in and out mechanism synchronizingly rotating and driving the roller at the same peripheral speed can carry in and out a disk medium. CONSTITUTION:The titled device has a storing part 10 which arranges plural disk media stored in a case so as to take out and stores then, and a medium handling mechanism 20 which carries in and out disk media at least between the storing part and a holding member and conveys them while holding them on a disk medium holding member. The medium handling mechanism 20 is constituted so that pressing the drive rollers 40A-40D against two facing sides of the case in the disk medium, the carry in and out mechanism synchronizingly rotating and driving at the same peripheral speed can carry in and out disk media. Thus load is uniformly diversified to the drive roller at each side of the disk medium, and the disk medium hardly tilts, whereby the drive roller seldom has wear and its life can be prolonged.
