PURPOSE:To correctly contain all disks at the prescribed storing position in a storing box by installing a projection part guide moving the disks at the prescribed storing position inside the door of a recording medium automatic mounting device. CONSTITUTION:The guide 7 made of a rigid body is fixed and installed on the inner wall surface of the door 1a so that it can project from an inner wall surface. With the door 1a closed, the guide 7 abuts on an optical disk cartridge 3 inserted halfway onto a shelf in the storing box 2 when said box 2 turns in a direction S, and therefore the guide 7 serves as pressing the disk 3 and moving it to the recess of the shelf in the box 2. Even if an operator inserts the disk 3 halfway in the storing box 2, the guide 7 presses and moves the disk 3. Accordingly the disk 3 can be correctly stored at the prescribed storing position in the storing box 2, and the damage of the disk and the trouble of the device can be prevented.
