PURPOSE:To adjust a position, where a movable element for a stepping motor is brought to a stationary state, finely by mounting a current regulating circuit and controlling a current value flowing, passing through the circuit. CONSTITUTION:Diodes 123, 124 are connected at two apices for a bridge to which a phase coil 7e is connected, the other terminals of both diodes are interconnected, and a current regulating circuit 120 consisting of a transistor 121 receiving a control signal CS to a base thereof and an emitter resistor 122 for the transistor 121 is connected between the interconnected point and a power supply. The current regulating circuit 120 forms an auxiliary current path CPa to a current path CP including the phase coil 7e even when either of transistors 101, 104 and 102, 103 is ON-operated,and subtracts currents flowing through the phase coil 7e from the normal value of the currents, thus acquiring a desired value. |
