PURPOSE:To minimize the thickness of a timepiece case by housing and holding an O-ring to the large-diameter hole of the case stepping hole by an O-ring retaining seat pressed by the elasticity of an elastic material held in place between the head part of a winding crown and the O-ring retaining seat. CONSTITUTION:Seat pushing rubber 5, O-ring retaining seat 4 O-ring 3 are wound on a stem part 2a. The O-ring 3 is housed into the large diameter hole of the case stepping hole 6 on the side wall of a timepiece case 1 when the stem part 2a wound with the rubber 5, the seat 4 and the O-ring 3 from the outside is inserted into the hole 6 of the case 1. The O-ring is pressed by the rubber 5 so that the O-ring 3 does not project to the outside of the case 1. The rubber 5 is compressed and thinned between the head part 2b and the seat 4 so as to be made larger in the diametral direction. The O-ring is thereby kept housed at all times in the timepiece case without the movement of the O-ring by the movement of the winding crown and therefore, the case thickness of the timepiece case is minimized. |
