Elle concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un verre stratifié transparent polarisant comprenant un support en verre minéral ou organique, un revêtement à propriétés polarisantes déposé sur l'une des faces du support, et une couche optiquement transparente adhérant au revêtement à propriétés polarisantes et le protégeant de l'humidité, ce procédé comprenant notamment un premier traitement par un gamma-amino-alkyltrial-coxysilane et un deuxième traitement par un époxyalkyltrial-coxysilane visant à améliorer l'adhérence de la couche optiquement transparente au revêtement polarisant.
Utilisation notamment en lunetterie.
