PURPOSE:To raise the magnetic efficiency, and to realize a high output thereby, by packing the inside space part of a magnetic head core for forming a closed magnetic path, with a conductive packing material. CONSTITUTION:A read/write core 21 for forming a closed magnetic path, and a part of the closed magnetic path is formed as one body with a non-magnetic chip 85. The inside space parts of a read/write core closed magnetic path and an erasing core closed magnetic path have conductive packing materials 71, 75, respectively. The conductive packing materials 71, 75 are packed so as to adhere closely onto the surface which becomes opposite to the magnetic head front surface especially, and onto the inside surface of a base part of each side core extending to both sides of this surface. In this regard, the packing material is packed onto the surface which becomes opposite in the same way to the front surface of non-magnetic chips 85, 811 and 812, and the base part on the inside surface of the side part, as well. In this way, a leakage of a magnetic flux can be decreased extremely, therefore, a high output can be realized by raising the magnetic efficiency.
