PURPOSE:To obtain a globe valve device which is able to prevent the reverse heat convection of a boiler and the like surely, by providing passage holes for a spherical shell valve, in a gravity free or extremely minute gravity globe valve device which checks the reverse heat convection. CONSTITUTION:The cross section of the valve body 1 of a globe valve device is formed circularly, an opening is bored on a part thereof, and a spherical valve seat 9 is formed. A globe valve 2 is disposed inside the valve body 1, and the specific gravity of the glove valve 2 is set up in such a manner that the specific gravity of the upper portion 2 of a spherical shell is smaller than the specific gravity of the lower portion 4 of the spherical shell, and the specific gravity of the entire globe valve 2 amounts to 1. Moreover, passage holes 3, 5 are formed on the upper and lower portions 2, 4 of the spherical shell, and fluid is streamed into the globe valve 2. With this globe valve device, the globe valve 2 floats in fluid, so that the opening and the closing of a valve can be carried out with even minute force.
