PURPOSE:To know a copy magnification for desired size in a variable power copying operation without any magnification calculation by printing or marking scales in specific relation or a characteristic graph as to plural copy magnification values on a plane body. CONSTITUTION:A transparent sheet 1 is provided as the plane body and scales 2 with reciprocal numbers of copy magnification are printed (or marked) together with specific copy magnification values 3. Those scales 2 have characteristics shown by an equation, where (l) is the length of an original image, (m) (%) is copy magnification, and L is the length of a copy image. For example, when characters 'RxxH' (actual length l: 5cm) on an original 4 are copied to 6cm length, the copy magnification (m) is easily known by using the transparent sheet 1 even if an operator does not know the length of the original. |
