PURPOSE:To separate a power element and a PWM control circuit simply by optically coupling a driver circuit driving a GTO thyristor element with an inverter at a TTL level. CONSTITUTION:When a driver circuit turns ON BOSFETs for control circuits 15 with which a gate control signal U and an inverted U for PWM-controlling an AC motor are each coupled optically, FETs 13, 14 are turned ON, and predetermined currents are made to flow through a cathode K from a gate G for a GTO 11 or 12. Accordingly, the GTO 11 or 12 is turned ON, and a current signal in the prescribed direction is outputted to a signal line S. |
