PURPOSE:To obtain a zeolite composite sheet having excellent properties as a desiccant, by treating a mixture of a polyurethane resin solution and zeolite in wet state and activating the obtained porous polyurethane sheet. CONSTITUTION:(A) 5-50% polyurethane resin solution (solid basis) derived from an organic diisocyanate, a polymeric diol and a glycol-based chain extender is compounded with (B) 50-95% zeolite, preferably powdery synthetic zeolite and, if necessary, a pigment (toner) and a solvent (e.g. DMF) and stirred and mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The obtained mixture is applied to and/or impregnated in a substrate, treated in wet state (preferably with water or a mixture of water and a solvent), desolvated, washed and dried. The resultant sheet is activated at 100-300 deg.C and a vacuum of 10<-1>-10<-10>Torr optionally after peeling from the substrate.
