The invention relates to the improvement of the articulated anti-theft accessory which formed the subject of the main patent application number 8504158 filed on March 18 1985 and which consists of an anti-theft padlock and of a metal bar 4 equipped with a hook 5 and a loop 6 through which the shackle of the padlock passes, which shackle is closed on the steering wheel 3 of the vehicle by a lock 2. The improvement consists in completely opening two rod holes 7 of the lock 2 so that the latter, surmounted by a metal cap 13, slides on the two rods 1 of the shackle, in cutting notches 8 into the rods starting from their end, in wedging the lock by metal rings 10 two of which are fixed 11 so as to wedge the catch 9 of the lock on the notches 8, and in shaping a multiple loop by fitting internal rungs 12. <IMAGE>
