PURPOSE:To improve prevention against corrosion by setting an applied voltage below the decomposition voltage of raindrops and forming each couple of electrodes of a raindrop detecting means by using a dirtless conductive material. CONSTITUTION:The decomposed voltage of each raindrop is applied between both the comb-tooth electrodes 32 and 33 of a raindrop detector 30, so a current value based upon the electroanalysis of each raindrop is suppressed small and corrosion is minimized. A current-voltage converting circuit 43 operates so that the detection voltage from the raindrop detector 30 is as high as the divided voltage from a voltage divider 42, so the voltage of the comb-shaped electrode 33 is inverted in response to variation in the level of divided voltage to prevent the corrosion from occurring more securely. Further, the electrodes 32 and 33 are formed of an anticorrosive metallic material to secure the corrosion prevention more.
