PURPOSE:To prevent the end section of an arch-formed plate spring from being extended and sliding in the slot-width direction, by containing the arch-formed plate spring in a spring-containing groove extended in the longitudinal direction of the bottom section of a wedge. CONSTITUTION:The fixing device of stator coils 1 is set on the upper surface side of the stator coils 1 inserted into the slot 2a of a stator core 2, and is provided with an arch-formed plate spring 4 pushed to fix the coils 1 with a wedge 3a inserted into the opening section of the slot 2a. The arch-formed plate spring 4 is contained in a spring-containing groove 8 extended in the longitudinal direction set on the bottom section of the wedge 3a. As a result, the end section of the arch-formed plate spring 4 is prevented from being extended and sliding in the slot-width direction.
