PURPOSE:To protect a pressure sensor against an overload by providing a stopper which receives a load through a greatly displaced elastic body and operates when the elastic body is displaced as specified. CONSTITUTION:The load on a body to be measured is transmitted from a shaft 8 to a stopper fitting 7 and applied to the pressure sensor 1 through the elastic body 6 and a pressure application point 5. When the specific load is placed, the elastic body 6 deforms and the stopper fitting 7 is displaced downward on the whole. The stopper 7a provided to the fitting 7 abuts on a sensor support fitting 9 and a load exceeding the specific load is applied to the stopper 7a while a load up to the specific load is applied to the pressure sensor 1, thereby protecting the pressure sensor 1. Thus, the pressure sensor is protected from an overload.
