PURPOSE:To prevent effectively buckling, and to prevent a trouble at the time of rolling by pressing by a pressure device plural front and rear parts in the slab carrying direction for pinching a junction point of a parallel part of an anvil and an entry inclined part, in the center part in the width direction of a hot slab. CONSTITUTION:A pair of upper and lower pressure rollers 6, 7 which have been installed in two front and rear places in the advance direction of a slab 1 for pinching a junction point 5 of a parallel part 3 of an anvil 2 and an entry inclined part 4 are pressed by hydraulic cylinders 8, 9, respectively. The pressure roller 6 is positioned on a line for connecting the center of the parallel part 3 of a pair of anvils 2, and the pressure roller 7 is positioned on a line for connecting the center of the entry inclined surface 4. By pressing a hot slab by this device, buckling of the slab can be prevented. |
