PURPOSE:To realize a mass production of a product having a high accuracy by forming a sheet metal stock to a cup shape by press working, and thereafter, forming a stepped part, forming successively a bearing supporting part, a multi-V-groove, and a bearing part, and pressing a ready-made bearing into a bearing fitting and attaching part. CONSTITUTION:A sheet metal stock of prescribed thickness and outside diameter is brought to deep drawing, and a cup-shaped preform 11 consisting of a base plate part 21 and a rough peripheral wall part 22 is formed. By a preliminary form rolling, an inclined stepped part 31 is formed on the rough peripheral wall part 22, a bearing supporting part 42 and a base plate part 43 are formed by a drawing, and thereafter, a wall thickened bulge part 51 is formed by an outer drawing die. Subsequently, by a multi-V-groove preliminary forming roller which serves as a wall thickening roller, the wall thickened bulge part 51 is thickened, and also, a reference groove part 62 is formed, and moreover, a multi-V-groove 61 is formed by changing successively a combination of forming rollers. In the end, a ready-made bearing 91 is pressed into the bearing supporting part 42. According to this method, a product having a high accuracy can be mass-produced.
