PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of humidity and the sticking of dust upon measurement accuracy and to measure weight accurately by using a small-sized sensor unit which is formed as specified. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 4 and electrode terminals 5 are printed on two flat plates 2 made of elastic insulators and those flat plates 2 are stuck on each other across a spacer 3 to form the sensor unit 1. Then, the load on a body to be measured is applied to the sensor unit 1 from a shaft 10 through a metallic load receiver 9, a leaf spring 8 for protection, and a pressure application point 7. This formed sensor unit 1 is reduced in size and the electrode gap is easily shielded from the outside. Therefore, there is no influence of humidity, dust, etc., upon the electrostatic capacity between the electrodes and an accurate measurement of weight is taken.
