PURPOSE:To produce the titled wheel while assuring specified strength and accuracy by inserting the end of a metallic spindle to a mounting hole at the end of a synthetic resin spindle formed integrally with a gear and welding and coupling the ends of the spindles to each other. CONSTITUTION:The spindle 3 is perpendicularly fixed by a jig 5 and the metallic spindle 3 held by a chuck 7 right above an induction coil which is a heater 6 is set to face downward with the coil in-between. The chuck is lowered. The lowering in once stopped when the bottom end 4a of the spindle 4 enters the heating region of the induction coil 6. After the bottom end is heated to a prescribed temp., the chuck is again lowered and is passed through the inside of the coil to insert the bottom end thereof into a mounting hole 3a of the synthetic resin spindle 3. The peripheral wall in the mounting hole is melted by heating of the end 4a and part thereof enters the inside of a cross groove 4b. The ends of both spindles are thus fixedly coupled by welding to each other. As a result, the spindles 3 and 4 constitute a hand shaft and a second wheel 1 is completed. |
