PURPOSE:To obtain a fingerprint detecting device which is excellent in the operability and function and high in the safety by unifying portably a laser irradiating part and a photographing part, and executing all the operation, adjustment and photographing by one operator. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving part 1 is composed of a two-dimensional image pick-up device 7, a reflecting mirror 8 to reflect the expanded beam irradiated from an optical transmitting fiber 2, a food 9, and a filter 10, and is attached to a handle 14, a switch 15 and a focus remote adjusting mechanism 16. To the connecting part of a laser oscillating device 3 and the fiber 2, a collimator 12 to adjust the beam diameter is fitted, further, at the terminal of the fiber 2, an optical system 13 to make parallel and expanded the beam diameter of the transmitted light is unified with the fiber 2 of the fiber 2. The oscillation of a laser is executed by operating the switch 15 fitted at the handle 14, the irradiating laser light is expanded, reflected, contacted to an inspecting body 11, the light emitting image is photographed by the device 7 and displayed at a picture monitoring device 5.
