This plastic-pipe preheating unit having a heater and fan serves for preheating plastic pipes by means of hot air in order to reduce the flexural stiffness for easy installation of plastic pipes on construction sites. For the purpose of a time-saving preheating of plastic pipes, the air outlet from the plastic-pipe preheating unit consists of a plurality of individual blow-out openings (5) to which plastic pipes can be connected to heat them internally. <IMAGE>
